Dory is a sweet and spirited foster dog looking for her forever home just in time for the holidays! She's a medium-sized mixed breed, around 9 months old, with soft, snuggly fur and warm, expressive eyes that shine as brightly as holiday lights.
True to her name, Dory has a curious and adventurous personality-she's always ready to explore like Santa checking his list twice! Whether it's sniffing every corner of the yard or chasing after toys with holiday cheer, Dory's zest for life is infectious. When the festivities wind down, she transforms into the perfect cuddle buddy, happily snuggling up on the couch right next to you to watch your favorite holiday movie. No need for a weighted or heated blanket when you have Dory around!
Dory gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would do best with a playful canine companion to share her adventures. She adores kids and would love a home with some little elves to grow up with. She'd also be perfectly content hogging all of the attention from her human(s). Her foster home doesn't have cats but she has ignored them when she's seen them at local pet stores.
Dory's ideal forever family would enjoy active fun and be ready to give her the love, attention, and occasional holiday treat she deserves. She needs an outlet for her energy that can include: long walks, fetch in the yard, running and playing with other friendly dogs, and lots of structured training and enrichment. Kennel trained, working on potty training but does great going outside when taken out regularly, walks nicely on a leash. Could this lovable, loyal pup be the missing piece in your holiday season? She would make even the Grinch's heart grow three sizes! Come meet Dory today and let her light up your world like the star atop your tree!

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
