My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Location: Troy, MO

Princess Diana is all that her name implies, a true princess that is dignified, sweet, and beautiful!

Princess Diana is a former breeder dog and she is learning how to just be a dog and live in a home where there is dog beds, toys, and freedom! She gets along great with other dogs, and pays no attention to the cats in the home. She loves to be with her person and is particularly fond of men. She sleeps with foster dad at night and wants to be wherever he is. When foster dad isn't around, then foster mom is her second choice :)

Princess Diana likes to lounge on the couch and take afternoon naps with her person. She is very treat motivated and likes a treat after dinner. She would do well in a home with someone who has mill dog experience or a canine companion. She is considered a flight risk and a secure physical fenced yard is required.

Princess Diana's adoption is $315. She is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, received a dental and on monthly heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.

All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.

We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.

Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
