Meet Callie! Callie is about 5 years old, 53 lbs, and she likely has some Dalmatian in her mix! In her foster home, she is a rockstar and doing well with her house-training, crate training and leash walking. Callie is looking for a home with a fenced yard and would be happy to share it with dog-savvy older kids and other large dogs. No small dogs, cats or apartments, please!
Her foster says, `This girl is wonderful. She would make a great dog for a home with someone who has a fenced yard and no small dogs or cats. She is really well rounded on a leash and does not have any escaping tendencies at all. Crates well but does fine unattended in the house out of a crate. She does bark sometimes but only if other dogs in the home bark. She is gentle with taking treats and is pretty independent but does love to interact with people, and loves toys.`
She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on December 6th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
