Tux is a SheepaDoodle, 70+lbs big boy. He is good with other dogs, kids over age 5 (he can do younger i would assume but he will knock them over for sure lol), housetrained, sits on command, & 70+lbs of snuggle.
Tux would be perfect for an active family that wants to take him on adventures. He is active and loves to play. He will need a fenced in yard or someone willing to take him on walks/runs, as he is young and does have a bit of energy, but what an sweet snuggly boy.
Tux should be adopted into a home with another dog to help with his separation anxiety. His adoptive family should be home most of the time and prepared to support him as he works through his anxiety when left alone.
Tux was surrendered locally. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
