Meet Hannes, an exceptionally sweet and loving puppy currently seeking his forever home!

Hannes is a Galgo mix, which is a Spanish greyhound. They are extremely rare in Canada, and make excellent companion animals with their gentle and quiet dispositions.

But Hannes' elegant looks and rare breed identification are just the surface of what's special about this puppy. He LIVES to cuddle, and his foster describes him as Super Velcro! If you're looking for loving companionship, this is your boy.

He is currently living with four other dogs, and is very intuitive in his interactions with them. He plays with the younger dogs and is gentle and respectful with the senior dog. He would do very well in a home with other dogs, and likely integrate easily into a pack. He'd also be fine as a solo dog as his major requirement is human cuddles. For this reason, he'd do best in a home with someone around a fair bit of the time.

Hannes is still a baby so could use guidance on things like leash walking, but he is smart and learns quickly.

We have an application process. All applications are subject to reference checks, home checks. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and must adhere to requirements stated in this contract, and follow ups are done post adoption. Please contact us about adoption fees. Our rescue is solely run by volunteers, we strive to return calls and inquiries within a 24 hour period.
