Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Eggsy is a distinguished 8-year-old gentleman, ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a loving forever family! He came to us after his previous owner developed allergies and could no longer care for him. Since arriving, Eggsy has adjusted wonderfully and is eager to find a home where he can thrive.
On the cusp of his senior years, Eggsy still has a good amount of energy and plenty of zest for life. He loves his daily walks and enjoys exploring all the sights and smells in our yard. At the same time, he’s not overly clingy and is perfectly content to lounge and nap the day away. Since Eggsy is a little overweight, a family that can encourage his active side will help him stay healthy and happy.
Eggsy is also an adorable pirate pug! He arrived already missing one eye, but his vision in the remaining eye is good, and he gets around just fine. He’s friendly, gentle, and sweet with humans and does well with other dogs, making him a great addition to a variety of family settings. Eggsy would love a home where he can enjoy attention, cuddle time, and plenty of comfy spots to nap.

More about this rescue
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
