Okay... we all know the famous Kylie—queen of the spotlight, always ready for the camera. Well, this Kylie is a little different. She’s not a fan of being photographed and can be shy at first, but trust us when we say that beneath her nervous exterior lies a dog with the biggest heart of gold, eager to love and be loved.
Kylie is a sweet and gentle soul, estimated to be about 4 years old. She came to us after her owner passed away, and understandably, she’s been through a lot. She just needs a little time and patience to fully come out of her shell. The glimpses we’ve seen so far reveal a truly loving and tender girl. Kylie is happiest when she’s with people she trusts, and she’s a fantastic cuddler.
She’s also great with other dogs and seems to prefer a laid-back vibe. In fact, she’s often found at the heart of a pug cuddle-puddle, letting the other dogs use her as a pillow. She has a nurturing, motherly vibe and will thrive in the right home.

Home Check
We will come out to make sure your home is safe for a Pug; if you live out of area we can do the home check via Skype or FaceTime.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
You can make an appointment to come pick out a Pug or you can also do that at one of our events (see our event page on website).
Additional adoption info
We require an application either online through our website or in person at our facility or one of our events. Once we receive the application we will schedule a home visit. After approval, you are eligible to adopt any available dog. Our fees range from $75 - $550 depending upon age. $550 would be for a pure pug puppy (which we rarely get), $75 would be for our senior for senior program. Full price list available on our website.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities.
