Hi there, world! My name is Bit O' Honey, and I’m an adorable little puppy ready to find my forever home. My story began when my mom was found as a stray. A kind soul took her in, and not long after, she gave birth to me! They reached out to this rescue, and here I am, ready to start the next chapter of my life.
Life has been one big adventure so far—I love exploring, cuddling, playing, and doing wild puppy gymnastics before taking long snoozes. And guess what? My friends here did a DNA test and found out I’m 55% Pug, 33% Shiba Inu, and the rest is a mix of small breeds. A truly unique combination, right?
As a young pup, I’m full of energy and curiosity, so I’m looking for a home with someone who has the time and dedication to help me grow into my best self. I’ll need training, patience, and lots of love to become a happy, well-adjusted dog. My ideal family won’t be gone for long hours and will have the time to keep up with my puppy antics.

Home Check
We will come out to make sure your home is safe for a Pug; if you live out of area we can do the home check via Skype or FaceTime.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
You can make an appointment to come pick out a Pug or you can also do that at one of our events (see our event page on website).
Additional adoption info
We require an application either online through our website or in person at our facility or one of our events. Once we receive the application we will schedule a home visit. After approval, you are eligible to adopt any available dog. Our fees range from $75 - $550 depending upon age. $550 would be for a pure pug puppy (which we rarely get), $75 would be for our senior for senior program. Full price list available on our website.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities.
