It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Flicka. I am just as soft as I look and I've very good about caring for my beautiful coat. I have a lovely purr motor that I will switch on when you give me love & attention. I have stunning eyes & a gentle demeanor. I will need a quieter home without dogs or loud toddler-type humans because they're just plain scary. I'm OK with other cats but my dream is to be your one & only fur baby. I have impeccable scratching habits if you provide me the sturdy flat cardboard style scratcher. I really would love to brighten you home & wrap you around my tail fur-ever. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
