Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
It makes some sense that Sirocco, a brown butter chiweenie with smoldering good looks, has the name of a hot dust-laden wind from the Libyan deserts. He is both a toasty lap-warmer and a youthful survivor of stormy adversity, ready, at last, to settle in and take a deep breath in his forever home. A fan of calm dogs and gentle humans, he is firm on his feet and up for a trot, which may emerge as a key feature of his prescribed weight loss journey. No matter, says he. A steady diet of TLC is all he needs to flourish. Adopt this bestie-to-be and you will be richly rewarded with true love and belly laughs, two of the most important food groups.
Here's some notes from his foster:
Sirocco is a curious, sweet dog looking for someone who can be soft and patient with him. He doesn't ask for much, and appreciates the simple life as he gladly snoozes with you. Sirocco also prefers quiet company and is sensitive to loud noises as he's getting used to city sounds. Once he's warmed up to you, he is really expressive and likes to tell you secrets with a touch of his paw.
Sirocco is house trained and loves his time outside, eagerly deciphering the smells during his walks. He can be a goofball the way he crawls to you while on the couch or bed, or how he gently rubs his jowls on the blanket. He is can do stairs and can find is own way onto the couch.
Sirocco likes pets on the head, face, front legs, and chest, but doesn't love touch from behind, on his belly, and his back legs. He likes to sit around and watch the day go by whether you are working or out and about at home.
Sirocco will be the best friend of anyone who wants to spend some quiet days together, getting to know each other day by day.
