Hi! My name is Teddy, but I think my real name is “Good Boy”. That’s what my foster family keeps calling me. They also say I’m smart. That’s because I’ve been training them to give me treats. All I have to do is come when they call or look when they say my name and they tell me “yes, Good Boy” and I get a treat. But I’m eager to please and I like food. They also told me I’m smart, because I go to the door when I need to go to the bathroom, but who likes to make a mess where they live? My foster family calls me a “cuddler”. If that’s what it is when you get your ears scratched and take a nap while the humans watch tv, then I’m a cuddler! I also like going for walks and adventures. There is so much to see and smell!
I am only six months and a puppy and I’m learning every day. My foster family says, I just need a place to feel safe and loved for my personality to shine through. If you are looking for a smart, cuddle bug to go on adventures with, I’m your guy.
A Note From Teddy’s Foster Family:
Teddy really is a “good boy!” He’s very sweet and loving often making the rounds for everybody to pet him. He loves children and people in general. He really likes his crate and will go in there to lay down, sleep, and as a comforting space. At only 6 months everything is so new to him, so we have been working on puppy manners. He learns so much everyday! We have also been working with him on basic commands. He is clicker trained to the word “yes” and responds well to positive reinforcement and treats. A Nylabone, Kong, or a lick mat will keep him entertained for awhile.
