Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bowie's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Bowie's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=008191) to learn even more about Bowie!
Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Bowie is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses.
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org.
Bowie is a little sweetheart who seems born for the city! He is curious about all the sights and sounds and is not scared of much. Our resident dog will hide away the slightest noise, but I dropped a book by accident and he didn't run away like she did. A dog barked at him on our walk this morning, and he just looked at them and went on his way. He met our neighbor and greeted him by jumping up and down with face licks and being so sweet. He is very food-motivated. He needs to gain a little weight, it feels like, and he happily eats up all the food in his bowl. He slept all night in his crate, not one peep! I think he will be a pro with housetraining; he only had two accidents (pee) in the apartment, which is very small. He's good on the leash, with some pulling, but he takes direction. He and our resident dog (a Muddy Paws girl!) have been having a fun time. When they get a little too crazy in their play, we just say, "Hey!" they both break it up. She's learning to share as we've never had a foster, and she took his toy away; he didn't get upset at all. I think Bowie will be an amazing little city dog, great size for an apartment, very adventurous and playful!
