My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scout is just the most perfect puppy! He's so incredibly gentle, loves to be cuddled, very attentive, and highly intelligent. He's at a great age to train.

We were notified by a lady suffering from StageIV cancer that she found Scout in her driveway one early morning. The previous evening there was a noise that sounded like a truck near her house. It was too dark to see, but she believes that Scout was dumped at that moment. We were very happy to accept him into our program. Initially, Scout was very shy, but he has grown to be playful with the other dogs in the program and our volunteers. He loves toys, treats, cuddles, and more treats! lol

He is curious about cats, but keeps a respectful distance. We believe he will be fine around cats unattended.

We are working with Scout on house training and crate training. He needs a family who is comfortable and patient to continue with his training. Accidents will happen with a dog traveling from such a distance.

Currently he weighs 50 pounds and we project he'll be about 70 pounds at least when he reaches adult hood. He is neutered, microchipped, has had all core vaccinations for puppy distemper/parvo, and a kennel cough vaccine. Scout is currently in Arkansas, but transport is available to New England. His adoption fee is $650.

Go meet their pets

We have many events in the Central Arkansas area! And if you are not in the Central Arkansas area, we are more than happy to send you videos and flood you with photos of your pup. :) We operate in New England as well, and typically are there for 4-5 days out of the month. Also, please speak to the foster parent to find out anything you'd like to know. We are more than happy to connect you!

More about this rescue

Our goal is to educate the public on spaying/neutering their pets, as well as to advocate/provide safe temporary homes for displaced, neglected, or abused animals. We rehabilitate, vet, and place in permanent homes, as well as offering transport to the New England area.
