My name is Olly!

We have tried numerous training tactics and offered an incredibly safe and loving environment for Olly. Unfortunately, he has not taken to us or our home and is skiddish in a way that indicates he was severely abused before we adopted him. We are unable to get him to come when we call even though he is responsive to the name we’ve given him. Because of his skiddish mannerisms, we are unable to properly train him the basics, as he continually runs away. After speaking with other experts, it’s evident he will require a home with someone that has full time availability and perhaps a history or is familiar with previously abused dogs. This is devastating as we wanted to be Olly’s heroes, but this sweet dog needs 24/7 training and surveillance and an incredibly strict routine. It’s horrible for me to admit how we simply cannot extend those resources or time with him at this point as we have exceeded any additional time allotted from both our works.
