My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gunny, an adult dog with a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with curiosity. He`s a friendly soul, always ready to explore and learn about the world around him. His best friend is Dr. Apollo PHD, another resident of the shelter. They`ve formed an unbreakable bond, always looking out for each other and making the best out of their days together. Gunny would love nothing more than to find a forever home where he can continue his adventures with Dr. Apollo. Why adopt Gunny? His friendliness and curiosity will bring joy and excitement to your home. His loyalty and companionship will provide a sense of comfort and security. And by adopting him, you`ll not only gain a new family member, but you`ll also give Gunny and Dr. Apollo the loving home they deserve.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
