Hi there, I'm Brody! I might be the sweetest little guy you'll ever meet. I'm only 5 months old, but I've already learned that humans are pretty amazing. I used to live outside with a community cat colony, but my foster mama decided to not release me back and now I'm ready to find my forever family (which explains my ear tip.)
I'm a tiny bit bashful at first, but give me a moment, and I'll be purring up a storm in your lap. I love cuddles-seriously, they're my favorite thing ever! I get so happy when I see you that my whole body wiggles with excitement. Oh, and I have the funniest "meow. I haven't quite mastered it yet, so I just open my mouth like I'm about to meow... but nothing comes out! My foster family says it's the cutest thing they've ever seen.
Every night, I sleep next to my foster sister, a 9-year-old human who is absolutely obsessed with me. I get along with cats and kids. I haven't been around a dog yet but I know I would be OK with a nice dog. I also love to eat and have a husky little figure to prove it.

Cat adoptions are held at the PetSmart at 115th and Metcalf in Overland Park KS every Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00. Cats available for adoption every day at PetSmart in-store cage area.

The Heart of America Humane Society is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to place shelter and foster animals into permanent homes in and around the greater Kansas City metro area.
Our goal is to save and improve the lives of Kansas City's homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. The Heart of America Humane Society (HAHS) partners with the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter (Lee's Summit MO) and KCK Animal Services (Kansas City KS) to increase pet adoptions into responsible, permanent homes.

Our organization does not have a permanent facility or paid staff, so many of our adoptions take place at PetSmart stores and occasionally through other event venues. Some events raise awareness and bring in donations for our animal support efforts, while others help acknowledge and show appreciation for our own volunteers (who perform all duties outside of their regular jobs).
