Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Van Gogh (Vinnie) is an 8 pound grey and white tabby. He's got longer hair that does require some grooming and a Sani-Shave is recommended. Van Gogh does great with other cats. He lived in a colony of cats outside and lived with another cat in the house. No experience with dogs or children but has never been aggressive whatsoever. He may hiss when you walk in a room but I believe it is more a habit and quite possibly just his greeting.
Van Gogh arrived on my doorstep an ill elderly cat with both ear and teeth issues causing much discomfort. After what I presume was a tough life on the streets, Van Gogh has not a feral bone in his body. After getting him wonderful medical care, fixing his ears and removing broken teeth(now a proud owner of four healthy teeth) he has really blossomed and shown his true personality. No special food required but he does enjoy canned food the best. His ear issues caused him to have balance issues and he would topple over often or simply stay in one spot. Now a healthy Van Gogh still has some wobble to him but is playing and climbing and jumping all the time with his foster cat buddy. He is extremely affectionate and is fairly insistent on attention when you are in his presence. Tummy scratches are his favorite and will definitely win him over. He is quite vocal when he wants your attention which is fine because he has a tiny little squeak for a meow.
Van Gogh deserves a loving home after all his time on the street. I think he would enjoy a cat companion in the house, but given the right amount of attention he would dote upon you in a one cat household. Please give Van Gogh(Vinnie) a chance, you won't be disappointed!
Van Gogh is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
