Little Girl Sugar is a sweet cat (Sugar) but occasionally gets sassy (Little Girl!).
Little Girl Sugar was left behind when her original owners moved and by the time she was rescued, she was very thin and hungry. Her rescuers found her to be very sweet and named her Sugar. She ended up being adopted by a friend who thought Sugar might make a good friend for her 12 year old male cat. It turned out that Sugar was not so sweet on living with other cats and probably needs to be an only cat. (Despite taking introductions slowly, Sugar insists on confronting the other cat).
Little Girl Sugar likes to be picked up and her motor kicks into high gear when held. She likes to be petted, and will let you know when she is finished. Perhaps because she knows what true hunger is, Little Girl Sugar is a big fan of food and has been known to find the value size container of Greenies Smartbites and help herself to them like she is at an all you can eat buffet.
When free to explore the house she likes to play soccer with her toys and watch things from a distance.
Little Girl Sugar is around a year old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.
Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)

Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
