My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

- Amazing dog who is equal parts cuddly and active; loves to snuggle but also enjoys burning off some energy

- Loves to chase tennis balls and will bring them back to you and drop them at your feet; loves chewing on Nylabones as well

- Has been housetrained here in the shelter and is great about keeping her living space clean and tidy; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine and schedule

- Has done well with other dogs, but may take a bit of time to warm up and may prefer some dogs over others; would probably enjoy having like-minded dog friends

- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her (mature home recommended)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label
