My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Liza
Liza is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 3 years old and weighs 8 pounds. We rescued her from a shelter near the border of Mexico with her baby Lonnie. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she is very happy, playful and her tail really can wag!

No doubt she will be extremely bonded with her new family, and love to be a lap dog!

She is great with other dogs and enjoys engaging in play.

Liza has the prettiest face and such expressive eyes!

She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own and a bed to snuggle into.

Liza is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Augustine, FL on December 21st. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.

If you would like to add this tender hearted cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt

Services our dogs receive prior to adoption:
Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate)
All age-appropriate vaccines
Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip

Liza tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas

*The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance*
