Location: Chestermere, Alberta. Weight: 10lbs. Energy level: low/medium. Age: Approx 3 or 4 years old.
Meet Gigi! This sweet and gentle girl is looking for a loving home where she can relax and feel safe. Gigi is a calm, low-energy dog who enjoys quiet time and is content to nap or snuggle up on the couch. She’s a little shy at first, especially around new people, and tends to cower when someone goes to pet her. But with patience, she warms up and is a sweet companion. Gigi is good with other dogs, like her foster brother Nico, and is indifferent to cats—though she does prefer her personal space when napping.
Gigi is perfectly content lounging indoors and is trustworthy when left alone, free-roaming the house without any issues. She’s house-trained, quiet, and doesn’t bark or cry, making her an easygoing addition to a calm home. While she’s not an active player just yet, she’s curious about Nico’s toys and may warm up to them in time.
Outdoors, Gigi enjoys walks, though she’s not a fan of the cold or snow and may need a little coaxing if it’s chilly. Gigi is also fine with car rides, especially if she has a comfy bed to curl up in.
Gigi’s ideal home would be a quiet, calm environment with no young children (she’s nervous around people), and she would do best in a home with experienced dog owners who can continue to help her build confidence.
Gigi’s perfect family will be patient and understanding, giving her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion who’ll happily curl up beside you, Gigi might be the perfect fit for your home. We do not host adoption events. We do bring some of our dogs to fundraisers to meet potential adopters who then must complete the full adoption process.
