Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Steeler
Steeler is a beautiful Havanese blend who is approximately 2 years old and weighs 25 pounds. He was rescued near the border of Mexico.
Steeler is a sweet and gentle boy. He is nice, laid back and loving. He is relaxed and calm. He has short little legs and a long body with the sweetest face.
He will do great in any home with a family of his own. He'd be great with other dogs in the home too.
Steeler is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Augustine, FL on December 21st. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.
If you would like to add this low riding cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt

Services our dogs receive prior to adoption:
Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate)
All age-appropriate vaccines
Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip
Steeler tested positive for Chagas disease and has started his treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
