Sasha is a sweet heart. She's affectionate and friendly. Not shy or timid or skittish or anything. The issue is that she wants to eat all the time so I can't leave food out and I have to give her the food a bit at a time everyday. It makes it impossible to travel without hiring a pet sitter. It has also made me resent her. She deserves more loving than I can give her. When we got her from Petsmart, her and her litter of kittens had been found as strays. They guessed her age was less than 2 years old. That was about 7 years ago. We had another cat at the time, and they got along great after they got to know each other. Then my step-son moved in with his little old dog and there were no fights between them either. The kids love her and she tolerates their hugs and kisses very well. She has never peed or pooped anywhere but the litter box. She does like to scratch, like all cats do. She's done a number on my carpeted stairs despite an abundance of scratching posts.
