My name is Bilbo Baggins!

Meet Bilbo Baggins
Bilbo Baggins is about 2 years old, weighs 13 pounds and is a happy, playful dog! He is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. He was rescued from a shelter near the border of Mexico.

He is the cutest little low rider.

We can see Bilbo doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He is curious and also enjoys being held. He has a fun personality and is very smart. He enjoys playing with his toys and other dogs here at the shelter. He is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of his own!

He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment.

Bilbo is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Augustine, FL on December 21st. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.

Services our dogs receive prior to adoption:
Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate)
All age-appropriate vaccines
Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip

He tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
