Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Marley, aka MarMar, aka Marley moo, aka moo cow, aka get down. She’s a dog with many names and many personality traits 🤣
She’s about 90 lbs of ridiculously goofy, fluffy, loving dog. We don’t really have a guess on what her breed mix is. Maybe a pointer and Great Pyrenees mix? Either way she’s adorable. She is a weird combination of calm and hyper.
She enjoys jumping on things ( a habit we’re trying hard to break) she can jump a 6ft fence which is quite the sight to see with how big she is. She is soooo loving. She will give everyone a hug and a kiss. She’s house trained, crate trained, dog friendly, kid friendly. She needs to be tested again with cats as it’s been a while but she’s an all around good girl. Her biggest issue is just not understanding her size.
She’s been with us for over a year and it’s time for her to find her forever home! She just needs a patient family who can handle her size.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption fees are between $50-$150 for cats and dogs depending on their age and how much vetting they have had (shots are given based on age, all are spayed or neutered after 6 months of age). If they have not been spayed/neutered or received a rabies vaccine due to age, you are required to sign a time sensitive contract stating the procedures will be done. We do not allow animals to be strictly outside animals, cats cannot be declawed, if you are renting we require a letter from your landlord stating he/she is aware of the new pet before the adoption can be final. Other animals in the home must be up to date on vaccines and altered.

More about this rescue
My name is Dava and I am the founder of this organization. I originally was a volunteer at the Jacksonville Animal Shelter in Jacksonville, Texas. They were never able to help with the many abandoned and neglected dogs and cats in the county since they were only contracted with the city. So I stepped in to help. We rescue anywhere between 10-20 animals in Cherokee County every month. There are many more in need of help still and the need for a rescue in this area was large.
