Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Shadow is an estimated 3.5 month old male mixed breed (mom looks like a Beagle mix) who joined us, along with his sister Sassy, from Oklahoma. They have been doing great in temporary foster care while awaiting transport, and are friendly to people and other animals. We'll share more info as we get to know them.

Foster Update: Shadow is an adorable 3.5-month-old mixed breed puppy with a big heart and an even bigger appetite! He’s great with both dogs and cats, making him the perfect addition to a multi-pet home. Shadow’s love for food makes him eager to please, which is helping him become a fast learner. He’s already doing great with potty training and happily goes into his crate on his own—though he still gives a few barks now and then, it's becoming less frequent.

In the beginning, Shadow had a bit of a sassy streak, but with some decompression and a solid routine, he’s blossomed into a well-behaved, happy pup. His playful, sweet personality is shining through, and he’s ready to bring joy to his forever family!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.

Animal History: This dog is being transferred from our partner in Tulsa, OK, and arriving via Furry Freight on 11/17/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.

All potential adopters must complete the adoption application including veterinary and personal references. In addition, a home check may be required. Adoptions will not be approved without an in-person meeting with the adoptable dog and a volunteer or foster from the rescue organization. Dog Gone Seattle is a Seattle-based non-profit corporation established in 2013 as a community based organization and in 2017 as a non-profit corporation seeking to place homeless dogs in forever homes in the Seattle area. We take in dogs from high-kill shelters in California and Texas, as well as dogs from unfortunate circumstances in Washington and beyond.
