My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zosia is a spirited little lioness with a big personality! After thriving in a wonderful foster home, she's back and ready to find her forever family. Fearless and full of life, Zosia isn't one to shy away from new adventures-nothing intimidates this brave explorer.

When it's playtime, Zosia goes all in, chasing toys and leaping around until she's had her fill of fun. Once she's tuckered out, she'll snuggle up and shower you with love, proving that her fierce side comes with a soft, cuddly heart.

If you're looking for a bold, playful, and affectionate companion, Zosia is ready to be your fearless best friend!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
