My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Macchiato is a sweet and snuggly kitten who loves spending time with his humans and his sibling, Cappuccino. Whether he's curled up in your lap for a nap, pouncing on toys, or playing with Cappuccino, Macchiato is full of charm and affection. His soft purrs start as soon as he sees you and don't stop until he drifts off to sleep.

Macchiato is playful, loving, and perfectly content being your movie buddy or your playtime partner. He and Cappuccino share a special bond and would love to find a forever home together. If you're looking for a pair of kittens who will fill your days with love and laughter, Macchiato and Cappuccino are the perfect match!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
