My name is Patches!

Meet Patches
Patches is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 1 year old and weighs 45 pounds. He was an owner surrender to a shelter who called us to pick him up. He does have a brief warm-up period when meeting new people. Once he knows you will be kind, he loves to get attention and affection.

He is very playful and smart. He will get very attached to his family.

He gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. He is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call his own!

Patches is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Augustine, FL on December 21st. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.

Services our dogs receive prior to adoption:
Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate)
All age-appropriate vaccines
Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip

Patches tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
