Joepa is the most loving cat I've ever known. She's a true lap cat who loves nothing more than to be around you and is amazingly affectionate. The issue is that as she's grown older, she very much dislikes other cats and we have two others that she cannot get along with.
We adopted Joepa in 2010 and shes been with us for many years. She has an amazing story in that when we adopted her, we were told she was 6 months old, but when the vet examined her they put her age at somewhere between 7-10 years old. She was 3.5 pounds and must have had a horrible life up until then. We decided to keep her and she's been a miracle since then.
Now, Joepa is somewhere between 20 and 23 years old, and just can't handle the stress of other cats, so we need to find her a new forever home. At her age, she does have a few issues to be aware of. She is deaf and has some minor kidney issues (no medication) that the vet is monitoring.
We love her dearly, but just cannot keep her with the others
