My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello up there! Im Reo, your pint-sized pal! My life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately, but Im so ready to find my soulmate and settle into my forever home. I didnt have many socialization opportunities for the first couple years of my life, but Im working hard to learn the ropes of being a happy, secure canine citizen. Ive lived with small dogs and cats without issue, so as long as were introduced slowly, I dont mind cohabitating with furry friends. A little structure and support while I hone my social skills is much appreciated.

As much as Ive opened up and blossomed in my foster home already, Im still working on my fear of new experiences out in the world. Im very small and the world is very big, so a patient human to help me build my confidence is high on my wishlist. Im taking life one day at a time, and I know that one day Ill be brave as can be! Im super smart and learn quickly, especially with my favorite humans by my side.

My favorite activities are playing, chasing, chewing, and cuddling with my people. It takes me a little while to warm up to new people, but once I do, Ill shower you with all the love you could ever hope for. You can even teach me new skills and tricks as a fun bonding exercise. I dont want to jump to conclusions, but its no coincidence that I was born on Christmas day. Im quite the special soul and can bring so much joy to your life.

Sometimes I get a bit itchy, especially when stressed, but other than that I have a clean bill of health! I will be neutered in December and ready to start the rest of my life with you.

Im in a foster home, so please submit an application at animalaidpdx.org to meet me!
