My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

A volunteer writes: Bello the Cat is trying to find his way. Huddled in the back of his cubby trying to make himself as small and as invisible as possible, you might ask if he's really trying all that hard. But please, for a moment, if we could put ourselves in Bello's paws. His person passed away and though someone took care of dear Bello for a little while, I imagine it wasn't quite the same. We know that in Bello's before he was friendly and played gently. He was reportedly active and outgoing. How fun! Except, that's not the Bello we see. The Bello I met was trying heartbreakingly hard not to be noticed, but I noticed him and in those few seconds, he took my heart. Bello enjoys some petting and loves treats, but is really trying to adjust the best he can. He's hoping to find a forever family who will share their patience and love with him.
