Hi my name is Fred and I am looking for my forever family. Some things I like to do are snuggle and be lazy next to my human all day. Occasionally I will have the zoomies before and after walks outside, which are my favorite. I also love to play with a plush toy or rope with my mommy or daddy. I am food motivated and love to listen and be the best dog I can be. I do know how to sit and lay down (occasionally but I am still working on it). I sit at the door when I know it is time to go outside. 90% of the time I will poo and pee outside but please forgive me and have patience with me as I am still learning and may have accidents because I get anxious and lonely when alone. I would do best with a mommy/daddy who work from home so I can be next to them all the time as I love my human so much. I like to put my paw on you for pets/attention. I listen very well and try to be the best I can be. I also respect boundaries and walk well on leash. I am not very loud or bark often but will bark if I hear someone outside, but I am just doing my job. I could be in a home with another dog given a proper introduction and I am good with kids as well. If I sound like the companion you’ve been searching for, please fill out an application to meet me.

More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
