My name is Rusty!

Hello there, I'm Rusty. I'm a bit older, but don't let that fool you. I'm still playful and love to chase toys and cuddle with the other dogs. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all cuddles and tail wags. I adore my humans and would do anything to make them happy. I've had a bit of a rough past, and some say I might have been mistreated. But I'm quick to learn and eager to please, so any poor behaviors I've picked up can be corrected with patience and love. I do better when you move slowly and cautiously so as not to scare me. Older kids would be a better fit. I am potty-trained, kennel-trained and know a few commands.
