Adoptable Pasha is a truly one of a kind cat—at least that`s what his foster human says! They write:

`I have been fostering Pasha for a week now - and he seriously is a special guy. He’s a timid cat (appears he lived alone with his owner for 12 years before the owner passed away recently) - but he has slowly been coming out of his shell and interacting with my 3 cats and 1 small dog and he does pretty well with them.

`He is a delight to foster - loves to be your companion in everything (cooking, getting ready for work, etc). He is quite playful and very spry. Very friendly, curious, and affectionate. Just needs someone that will take time slowly getting to know him.
`If anyone knows someone looking for a loving and loyal cat companion, please have them let the shelter know!`

The Adoption Center is open M,T,Th,Fr from 12-7pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12-5pm. The Shelter is closed to the public on Wednesdays.

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
