What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
With a heavy heart, I’m looking to rehome my cat. I adopted him from a foster mom when he was a kitten, and everything was fine until I became pregnant. Since then, he started peeing and pooping around the house and stopped using the litter box, even though he used it perfectly before.
I’ve tried to manage, but now that I have a newborn and am home alone most of the time, it’s become overwhelming. I also have another cat (10 years old) and a small dog. While he and the dog coexist fine, he has started to act aggressively toward my older cat. I think he would do best in a home where he can be the only pet and have more attention and patience than I can currently give.
This decision hasn’t been easy, but for my mental well-being and his happiness, I believe it’s the right thing to do. I want to find him a loving home where he can thrive. Please reach out if you’re interested or have any advice.
