My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vanessa is an adorable 3-month old female Torbie/Calico kitten who was brought to the HSOV on October 25, 2024 along with her sister (Candace) by a Good Samaritan who found them in Washington County Ohio (no exact location provided).

Vanessa has a lovely black/orange/white short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a long tail, and a beautiful black-and-orange face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

This little sweetheart has a friendly, rather shy, personality and depends upon her sister Candace for comfort and security.

Vanessa was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on October 26, 2024. She weighed 3.3 lbs that day. Vanessa was given booster vaccines on November 9th and November 23rd 2024.

These photos of Vanessa and Candace were taken on October 27, 2024. Neither of the girls wanted to be separated from the other, but they were fine when we provided carry-in service to our 'studio' together. Both Vanessa and Candace put on their happy faces and posed like tiny 'Kitten Fancy Magazine' models for their photo sessions.

Vanessa and Candace are being listed as a bonded pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to adopted together. They will be spayed before being adopted by their new family.

Update: Vanessa was spayed on December 17, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 5.3 lbs that day.

Vanessa and Candace were adopted together on December 18, 2024.
