Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nutmeg!
This 7-8-month-old husky mix is a delightful blend of sweetness and spice! Nutmeg is a cuddle bug who loves flopping over for belly rubs, but don’t let her snuggly side fool you—she’s also full of playful energy and always ready for an adventure.
At about 55 pounds, Nutmeg is the perfect size for long walks, romps in the yard, or cozy evenings on the couch. She’s been making great progress on her house training and keeps her kennel clean, showing her potential to settle into your routine quickly.
Nutmeg seems to enjoy the company of other animals, so she may be a great fit for a multi-pet household. With her charming personality, she’s sure to bring joy to any family ready to love her!
If you're looking for a best friend who’s as spunky as she is snuggly, Nutmeg is your girl. Come meet her and see why she’s the sweetest spice around!Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
