SONIC IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS
THE ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES HIS TRANSPORT WITH MIGHTY MUTT SHIPPING..
This is little Sonic,he was dumped at our local shelter at 8 weeks old with his mom because his owners said they had too many dogs
Mom was adopted by a previous adopter of ours
Sonic is now approx 7 months and weighs 7 lbs as of November 1st 2024
he has a deformed right foot
Our Orthopedic surgeon took x rays and said that he had damaged the growth plate in his foot, his foot sticks out to the side but it doesn’t bother him, he has no pain ,runs and plays just like the other puppies
The surgeon had initially thought that he would do surgery but had concerns that as it was a pretty complicated surgery it could eventually lead to some other issues in years to come, including lameness
As he has no clinical signs , is not lame and gets around fine, he loves to race and play tag with the other puppies in the yard , he decided that at this time not to do surgery
he’s a really sweet little pup and his foster said he loves everyone even cats.. of course they are all bigger than him !!he loves to run around the yard, he loves toys and loves getting attention, he is doing really well on his house training and does well on his harness..he would like a home with a buddy to play with that is not too big, as he is such a little guy.
WE ADOPT TO EXPERIENCED DOG OWNERS ONLY AND NO CHILDREN
His adoption fee is $500 and includes , all vaccines , boosters microchip and neuter.
There is an application on our website

All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog in their residence until it is adopted. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
