A Rosie by any other name would, in fact, be a different cat -- that's how names work, people! But this specific Rosie? Ohh, she's quite lovely!
Rosie excels in a home setting, one where she can confidently seek out attention and cuddles, but you'll need to take our word for it since the shelter has her more reserved and stressed out. Only recently found as a stray, Rosie's caretaker took her in for a few days back in September after finding her hiding in a ready-made groundhog hole in their backyard. Rosie was also found to have been originally microchipped in Virginia, but unfortunatley that owner information was a deadend and we don't know more about how she ended up in Philadelphia or how long she was out there fending for herself. The consistent attention and care has done wonders for her, so she is more than ready to take her show home with her new family! Rosie did alright around the dog in that home (her hero, afterall), so she could do fine in a home with other social and confident animals and older children as well. Her quirky and playful nature also starts shining through once she has that chance to settle in, so it doesn't take long to reap the rewards of making her yours!
