This sweet 11.5-year-old black kitty is looking for a loving home after being returned to Stray Haven Humane Society due to her previous owner needing to move into a nursing home. Having been adopted as a young kitten, she has experienced a lot of love and affection over the years. While she enjoys the company of other cats, she can also be quite independent, often preferring her own space. Despite her independence, she is a gentle and affectionate companion, always ready for some quiet snuggles when she’s in the mood. This sweet senior is ready to settle into a peaceful home where she can enjoy her golden years.

Additional adoption info

Stray Haven requires an in-person visit with our adoptable pets and completion of the adoption application. Our standard adoption donation is $225 for adult dogs, $275 for puppies, and $100 for cats, and $120 for kittens. All adoption packages and specials include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.

Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA is a small private non-profit humane society dedicated to ensuring the protection of animals through education and service. Since 1967, Stray Haven has served Tioga County, NY and neighboring communities, providing shelter and care for homeless animals. Today we continue to offer many services with the generous support of the public, including pet adoptions, spay/neuter programs, dog obedience classes, pet therapy, cruelty investigations, humane education, children’s outreach programs and rewarding volunteer opportunities.
