Toby was found in the middle of Seoul. He was there with an old man who wanted to sell him to a dog trader. He was persuaded by the rescuer but beyond that, nothing else is known about his past.

Toby is a lovable rescue dog with a heart as big as his wagging tail. His favorite thing in the world? People! He’s never shy, greeting everyone with a happy wag and a gentle request for pets. His friendly, loving personality shines through in every interaction, and he’s always eager to make new friends.
Though Toby is strong and sturdy, his gentle nature makes him approachable and endearing. He’s curious about the world around him, and his puppy-like energy keeps him engaged and ready for adventure. Toby’s encounters with stray cats are a mix of curiosity and comedy—he’s intrigued by them but will hilariously retreat if they seem too bold!

About Eight Paws Dog Rescue
Eight Paws Dog Rescue is a registered Canadian Nonprofit organization that rescues dogs from South Korea and finds them forever homes in Canada. In South Korea, thousands of dogs struggle to survive in overcrowded shelters, and there is very little hope for adoption. But in Canada, these dogs can have an amazing life and a loving family. Eight Paws and its volunteers find, verify, coordinate, and assist the many humans necessary to save each dog–from shelter staff in Korea to Canadian adopters. The effort is great, but the reward is greater because dogs bring love and joy into our lives.
