Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Asheville Humane Society with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and when you meet Newt, you'll believe it! Take one look at this sweet boy, and you'll see his heart of pure gold in his gaze. Newt's curiosity and tender-hearted nature are big parts of his charm. We love to watch his adorable little nub tail wagging while he takes in the smells of freshly fallen leaves on walks.
Newt came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his history, but the family that found him thinks he may be housetrained! He was quiet and well-behaved during his short stay with them. Based on his size and enthusiasm, we think Newt will be a best-fit with taller and older humans. Newt is excited about meeting new dogs: bring your pup to meet him and see if they are destined to be best friends! Don't miss your chance to adopt this wonderful boy. Visit Newt today!

More about this shelter
Asheville Humane Society is about hope, not heartache. As Buncombe County’s critical safety net since 1984, we are always here to save and protect every animal. We have mastered the art of saving lives within our walls and now we are going even further, helping our community’s pets and their people thrive together. We are going beyond a no-kill community to ensure that each animal has the quality of life they deserve – a life worth living.
