Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lil Ricky: The Heartwarming Survivor
Introducing Lil Ricky, a delightful 4-year-old Shih Tzu-Terrier mix who embodies the spirit of resilience and joy! Found as a stray in the bustling streets of Los Angeles, Ricky's journey began at a high-kill animal shelter where he was left wondering why his previous owner never came to claim him. With his playful demeanor and loving personality, it was hard to understand how this sweet boy had been overlooked.
As the shelter faced overcrowding and Ricky’s time was running out, an animal rescue initially stepped up to save him but then sadly never showed. Faced with the grim prospect of euthanasia, Ricky's fate took a turn when our nonprofit, Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue heard about his situation and rushed to his rescue.
Despite the shelter's estimation of Ricky being 8 years old, our dedicated veterinarians assessed his youthful energy and sparkling spirit, concluding that he is likely around 4 years old, based on his teeth and impressive stamina. This little polka-dotted bundle of joy is anything but a senior!
He is up to date on vax.
Microchipped and Neutered!
Ricky is ready to fill a loving home with laughter and joy this holiday season. If you’re interested in making this charming pup a part of your family, please reach out to us at info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org for an adoption application. Let’s give Lil Ricky the happiest holiday ever and the forever home he truly deserves!
