Say hello to Butternut Squash! She's a gorgeous, sweet, friendly kitty who loves people and attention and will push her head into your hand for pets. She is an extremely loving, affectionate classic tabby girl with beautiful markings. She loves to be pet and would make a wonderful companion.

Butternut Squash was rescued in Long Island from a huge colony of cats, but she was friendly from the moment we met her. She likes to come to you for petting, rub against your legs and hang out with you. She's a true lap cat, ready for you to be her BFF. She is not overly needy, but she likes petting and seems to be fine with other kitties.

Butternut Squash is about 1 year old. She is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. All she needs is a loving furrever home!

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
