My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Octavious...he is a young neutered male terrier in need of a new home. He came in microchipped, but no owner came forward. He is friendly and playful. He knows sit and shake. He is 50/50 on a leash meaning he is good but he then he pulls. He does well passing other shelter dogs. We always recommend a meet and greet if you have other pets. Please visit the Taylor Animal Shelter to meet him. We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9-11:30 am and 12:30-3 pm. Tuesdays from 12:30-3 pm. Saturdays from 9-1pm.

Additional adoption info

Fees for adoption are $160 for non-sterilized dogs/cats and $60 for sterilized dogs/cats. There is a sterilization refund of $100 once the dog/ cat is sterilized. If an animal is sterilized at the city's expense the fee is $135 for a dog adoption and $95 for a cat adoption. There is a contract that is needed to be completed at time of adoption. The sterilization is required by the contract. We do not accept cash or checks. Only credit and debit cards are accepted at time of adoption.

More about this shelter

The Taylor Animal Shelter is a municipal ran no-kill shelter for adoptable dogs and cats. The shelter provides many services, such as animal adoptions, lost and found animals, licensing, animal rescue within the city, and responding to the complaints of residents regarding neglected and loose animals. Our goal is to get every animal that comes through the shelter into the forever home they deserve. We have a variety of dogs and cats available through out the year for adoption so please come in and see these wonderful pets.
