Please welcome Martin Short!

Foster mom thinks he may be Black Mouth Curr/lab mix. So despite his namesake, I do not think he will be particularly short or small. I am guessing that he may get to about 55 pounds when full grown. This sweet little boy is the total package when it comes to puppies!! He is very playful and loves toys. He is good with the other dogs in the home. Martin is doing well with crate training and potty training. He listens well! The shelter said he was good with kids. I do not have small children in the home to know this for sure but I would think he is good with kids based on his behavior. He is still a puppy, so he can still be a bit mouthy; he will chew on my hands a bit but not aggressively at all! Martin is up to date on his vaccinations and he is neutered. You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?
