Meet Socks the 10mth kitten!

Socks is a very sweet girl, although she is very timid due to her traumatic past. Socks was a part of a stray colony and was brought to us in rough medical condition. After months of medical treatment, she is now up to date on vet care and feeling much better! She is looking for a forever family who will be patient with her as she gets comfortable in her new home.

Socks is a very sweet girl but tends to be very timid around new people. This often leads to her hiding or jumping up on her tall cat tower to feel safe and secure. Once warmed up, she is happy to explore her surroundings and hang out near her people. As of now, she is not a fan of cuddling or sitting on laps. We do feel like with some extra time and patience, she will come around and be a great companion. She just needs some extra time to learn that not all humans are scary!

Socks would prefer a quieter home. She would prefer a home with no small children or rowdy pups. She would love to have a kitty companion; however, this is not required. We have noticed that she feels less anxious when she is near other kitties though!

Socks does have some food intolerances and requires a sensitive stomach food. She is currently on Purina sensitive stomach (does not require a prescription). Other than her sensitive tummy, she is your typical kitten! She is up to date on vaccines, fixed, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. She also does great at using her litterbox and scratching posts.
