Well behaved, calmer personality, smart, loyal and warms up quickly to friendly! Beautiful coloring, She was a good Mommy to her puppy Ender. Kit is doing great in foster. She is potty trained with a doggie door. She is so sweet and loves to cuddle. She loves to play with her fur friends. She knows basic commands. Meet the dog/puppy at weekly adoption events (every Saturday) Meet cat/kitten at area locations including our Kitty Korner (1649 Main St)

Interview to see if the pet will be a good fit into the home.

The application is completed and approved.

Meet the pet. A short interview will be conducted. Fill out an adoption application and contract and you can take your new companion home. We are always here to support you after the adoption with any questions or concerns.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events every Saturday from 10 to 1 at the Grand Junction Petco, PetSmart or Chow Down for dogs and puppies. Cats and kittens can be seen by appointment at Grand Rivers Humane Kitty Korner (1649 Main St, Grand Junction 970.257.0070) or anytime at Petco, PetSmart and J&M Aquatics. All of our adoptable pets come from Mesa County Animal Services.
