Texas III is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Texas III ! I am a handsome 1.5-year-old fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner's home not conducive to my exercise needs. I am described as friendly, active, smart, calm, playful, affectionate, and quiet! I am said to be dog and kid friendly! I currently live with a 6-year-old and do well with her. I have been near cats and done fine with them but a proper meet and great is recommended. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in my crate. When the humans must be away and I am left alone, I am crated and do great! When outside I have good behavior and do not attempt to jump fences or dig but love to run and get my energy out! Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, getting love and attention, playing, running, and having fun! If you are looking for a boy that has a personality and heart as big as the state of Texas, look no further! Contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!

1. Fill out an Online Adoption Application

2.Your application will be reviewed and sent to a volunteer in your area. The volunteer will contact you to schedule a home visit within one week. There is a $25.00 fee for a volunteer to come to your house for a home visit. This fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to the adoption fee when the adoption is finalized.

3. After your home visit is complete and you are approved you can begin meeting dogs. The person who met with you during your home visit will assist you in this process.
